O Say Can you See...Canada! 2012

We loved celebrating our National holidays!  Canada Day on July 1st and Independence Day on the 4th of July!  Usually we are in Canada for these days but we were scheduled to go later.  We just couldn't forget Canada Day!

Canada Day fell on a Sunday.  Ofcourse we had to dress up for the occasion! Here's to the red and white!
No, I was not trying to attempt a Maple Leaf!  Just some fun swirly braids!
My girls are such good sports for putting up with me!  Aren't they the cutest here?!  I am such a lucky lucky mom!
Who better to celebrate with than our Canadian family, the Meyers!
Even though they are officially American citizens, they were happy to remember their birth country!  Thanks for the yummy cake Laura!
Quite a few of our neighbors joined in on the firework celebration!  They appreciate our Canadian heritage!

And now for the red, white and blue!
Even though it was a scorcher, we had fun at Nisson's park with the Houskeepers!  They were awesome to let us in on their family tradition!
 Yummy snowcone time!
In the afternoon we went to see Disney's new movie, Brave!  It was very entertaining!  We love Merida's red hair!
And to finish the day off we watched the fireworks with the Houskeepers on Foremaster Drive.  They were kinda small looking!  LOL!
Don't remember why Carter felt the need to wear a jacket!  It's only like 110 degrees outside!  Ha ha!

Yay for July!  What a great month!
