Off we go to Universal Studios. It was fun to spend the day here. The drive was cool, to be able to see Hollywood from our car window. We feel this place is just a one day, every few years type of a visit, yet worth the stop. It was nice to not fight the crowds of Disneyland and to not rush to try and fit everything in.
Our oldest 3 have sure been into "Jaws" these days. This was a perfect place for them to hang out in! I thought the "Whoville" Christmas tree was amazing!
We had to go down many flights of stairs to get to the cool stuff!
Transformers was THE best ride of the day! It blew away the new Star Tours in Disneyland. We rode this about 3 times. Our favorite indeed! We sure loved it!
My favorite part about rides is the anticipation of it. Especially the unexpected. This was a fun one that the whole family could ride together!
We saw many famous "sets" as we rode the tram for a tour. Remember "Back to the Future" with "City Hall". So great!
The Grinch played his part well. It sure seemed like "Jim Carrey" from the movie. He was awesome!
What was mom thinking on this next one? Emery and the boys kinda just went in without us all thinking it through. Um. Ya. They hated it. A bit too scary. Oops. Thank goodness there were no nightmares that night!
We wrapped up the day with a delicious dinner at the Olive Garden.
