There are so many fun places to visit in Calgary. One place that we absolutely love, and hadn't visited for about 5 years is, Heritage Park. It has some old pioneer houses and midway rides. The kids had a blast!
Choo choo! We started out with an old fashioned train ride around the park! We love that we got to be with cousins, aunties, uncles, and grandparents!
We also went on the boat around the lake!

Their little faces are priceless on this mini ferris wheel!

Evey was thrilled to go on with Grandma! She kept waving to us at the bottom!
Time for our 100th picnic lunch! :) It was so great to have all of us there!
The kids got excited to each lay a penny on the train track to see it get smooshed! I think this was the hightlight for the boys!
Wow! The train did it's job!
For dinner we all got together at Sundance Lake for some delicious Graham style bbq hamburgers!
These cute little cousins had some good quality bonding time together! Love it!
What a fun and amazing day. It went by way too fast! Grandpa C has always said, "You've gotta stop while you're having fun!"

lol - time for our 100th picnic lunch. Why does lunch have to fall right in the middle of our plans? It would be so much easier if we only ate twice a day and then we wouldn't have to make any more sandwiches!
Heritage Park was so fun - I love it there! So fun you squished pennies. (I was gone by then)

Heritage park - one of my favorite places, with my favorite people, wonderful combination! That sure was a fun day with everyone, thanks for posting all the great pictures! The smashed pennies - they would not let up, too funny! The family BBQ was great too, got to pack it all in!
