Christmas anticipation 2011!

The week leading up to Christmas is so exciting and full of good family activities!  We all enjoy it so much!  What would Christmas be like without dressing up the kids, especially the girls!

I got a bit more daring this time and actually sewed some things.  I made the girls boleros/shrugs and their flowers!  The boys ties I bought, thank goodness for that!

It's a lot of fun taking pictures now that they are old enough to want to pose and smile for the camera!
I also made these purses!  Chelsea inspired me as she is always making a purse to match an outfit for her girls!  I am so lucky to have girls and lucky that they will let me do these things!
We made a trip to Tuacahn for the nativity.  It is always presented so beautifully.  It's so important for the kids to see this and be reminded.
It was freezing, well at least for us.  Sorry true Canadians!  I know you are probably laughing at us!
It's so great to have the once or twice a year moments to get out the snow clothes.
Evey was so good and was mesmorized by the real live animals!
When do we ever get to see camels?? So cool!
The cute Meyer family met us there!
 And the other Meyer's too!

Christmas "Adam" on the 23rd is exciting at our house!  We make a day of it!  We went to Tin Tin in 3D, our first time doing the 3D as a family!  Then we had treats and hot chocolate with games, movie, and stories by the tree!  It's so fun to just play with our children!
The kids like to exchange their gifts to each other on this day!
Another tradition we enjoy is our Christmas Eve breakfast with the Houskeepers.  They are such a special family and we love spending time with them.  We had yummy crepes and eggs! Jace always entertains us with his happy noises!
So cute!  My kids are still talking about your delicious eggs Darin!  We'll have to have them every year!
 Sweet friends!
So glad we got to do this!  Thanks for coming Houskeepers!
