Caden's 13th!

The countdown is on for the exciting day of October 2nd, 2013! 

A chart with 31 days in advance is perfect!  I love it!

Every year I tease this boy that he was supposed to be born on September

20th and made me wait 12 days to meet him.  What a guy!  It was

worth the wait.  This special boy is a great addition to our family!  Life

would be pretty dull without him around!  It's now official that our

family has 2 teenagers.  Woa.

Isn't this little 2 year old toddler a doll!  I sure miss my little boy!

Birthday bed heads!  Too funny!

               One of Caden's favorite foods is a subway sandwich with ham, lettuce,

provolone cheese, mustard, and mayo.  He drools over it!

 Caden has some really thoughtful people in his life!  His friends Luke Dotson and

Shaun Meyer came over all on their own and gave him some presents.  I was

 so impressed with this even though he wasn't having a birthday party with his friends.

 Little sister Evey was also thoughtful with her cute cards and drawings.

 Favorite dinner to make the birthday menu; jumbo shells, caesar salad,

homemade garlic rolls, and cherry pie!

This ipod 5 is what he was wanting for a loooooong time!  FINALLY!



One of Caden's favorite restaurants is the good old Texas Roadhouse. 

 We sure enjoy the one on one time with our birthday kids!  We often joke, what

 would life be like with just one child?  This is a few days before the big day. 

What a nice brother to share his leftovers with the siblings!

We couldn't be more proud of the great young man our Caden Mitchell is growing

up to be.  He is a friend to everyone, is loving and affectionate, gives compliments

easily, is sensitive to the spirit, has a great sense of humor, is charming, happy,

and kind.  There's nothing like being so frustrated with Caden, yet in the

same moment he can make you forget it all with his crazy laughing, along with his

beat read face.  Ha ha!  Thank goodness for this.  We need to laugh more and he

sure provides that.  Every family needs a Caden!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY bud!
