A very merry unbirthday!

Such fun to have a birthday party for everyone! Auntie Martha was creative in thinking up this activity. Since the weather was yucky she planned some indoor fun. The cousins were each assigned a fellow cousin by drawing of names. Then we split up and went to various dollar stores to find their assigned person a birthday present. We came back to the church and decorated, wrapped presents, and got the treats set up. Even though it was wild, crazy, and noisy..for the moms :)..the children loved it!
During present time each child gave 3 clues to the group about the person they were giving their gift to. It was fun to hear what they came up with.

The moms concluded that the unbirthday party should become an annual tradition. What a great idea Martha! I love any opportunity to teach my children to put time into thinking of others.

Glad you guys are having so much fun! What a fun idea, especially with a big group of cousins. We might have to try that with the Robison chaos sometime.

That was a fantastic idea, Martha! All of my children have said that was one of their favorites this year. I agree, Mel, a great opportunity to teach our children the importance of thinking of others. We will have to make that a yearly tradition. Next year I will bring my whistle, so they can all hear my instructions! Love the chaos!
