What an exciting event in one's life! I know Curtis wasn't thrilled about turning 40 so we had to make it fun in honoring him and letting him know how much we love him! It was a very stressful time at work so we were hoping he would find some enjoyment in the day. Too bad the 18th didn't fall on a weekend!
The kids and I had a great time planning and shopping for this great day. Emery was my companion throughout it all!
Happy 40th birthday Curtis! Thanks for working hard for our family! We appreciate all that you do!
From morning until night we gave Curtis 40 presents representing his talents and abilities!
He's so happy to wear his birthday badge! Ha ha!
This is the first time I have used window markers. It was a lot of fun to mess something up!
This was a little embarassing for Curtis but he took it all in good fun and said he had quite a few honks that day!
Forty helium balloons with cans of coke zero anchoring them down.
Evey and I met Daddy for lunch at Del Taco. Yum!
Cheers! It's a birthday celebration with our flavored milk!
Curtis' 40th present was a coupon good for a skydive. He has yet to take this adventure on!
Lots and lots of presents!
Each gift coordinated with a talent or skill of his. Emery was great at helping me with this!
Costco cinnamon sticky buns are THE best! These are a favorite at our house!
Daddy took out the 3 oldest to see the Hobbit that night. We had seen it a few days earlier. What a fun day! Happy Birthday Curt!
