More of our Kalispell trip

It's funny that our destination was Kalispell but I got no pictures of the town.  Oh well, the sights and places along the way were spectacular.  We just stayed in a hotel there, ate at restaurants, and went to a few stores.  Nothing too exciting to take pictures of.

Cute Grandma and Grandpa Hancock resting on a tree trunk at the ever so lovely Lake McDonald.
Kids always love to throw rocks in the lake!
This is our second trip to the lake on the way home.  These crazy people just had to take a dip!
Curtis wanted proof that he swam in this freezing cold water.  Glad it's not me!

The day after we arrived in Kalispell, we drove up to the ski resort called White Fish.  In the summer, they let the tourists ride the chair lift and gondolas.  It was so much fun.  This is a view from our chair lift ride.
We were freezing since the wind was blowing!

At the top they have a visitor's center with a kids section where they can learn about wildlife.
 Interesting furs.

Then we took some shots at the top!

Weeee.  The kids and Curtis got to ride down on an Alpine slide that just opened up this summer.  Ofcourse they had a blast!
The chairlift back up looked pretty freaky to me.  Boys, put your bar down!

It was an amazing trip and made me so thankful for Heavenly Father's creations.

What a fun day - chair lifts, the alpine slide, and beautiful scenery, I wanted to jump in the pictures and be there with you guys! Did Evey like the alpine slide? I didn't know you guys did that, what a blast! The summer is just the best, isn't it?

Wow how beautiful! The view's make my tummy jump! You guys did awesome climbing that far, but it looks like it was worth the climb. We sure miss you when you are gone for the summer :( Mel, you look just like one of the kids in the picture on the picnic bench! I had to search for you, you're gorgeous!
